Catching Fire review

Well I caught up to the rest of the world last night when my partner, my brother and I went to go see the Hunger Games: Catching Fire.

I can honestly say that I came out happy because it was quite possibly the most faithful translation of a book to movie that I've ever seen. Obviously, the book is an entirely different medium to film and some things that can't be done justice need to get changed, or things that aren't obvious (as the books are from Katniss-point of view) or things that just can't be done due to time constraints.

My brother is still in rage mode because he doesn't feel that the concept of the Mockingjay has been made clear enough if say, you haven't read the books. Me, I'm not too fussed about that as I think the movies are pretty good as a stand alone concept.
